The orphanage accommodates 110 children with capacity for 120 kids - 55 boys and 55 girls from 4 to 23 years old. 20-25 kids are committed to the orphanage annually. Among those kids, 13 are orphans living without one parent, 5 kids lost both parents, 30 kids have single mothers, and 62 children have both parents in extreme poor financial situation.
The orphans' medical tests run twice a year and there is only one partially disabled child. No chronic diseases are diagnosed. The orphanage has enough vitamins and food supply, and fresh natural milk as well.
STATEMENT OF NEED
The orphanage needs an outside court for physical activities. It's a very small number old toys and computers. They also need large screen television and furniture (Beds for older kids, Chairs, and Desks for computer).
The building is heated by the liquid gas. There is water heating equipment in only one building. The orphanage lacks soup, shampoos, and toothpastes. They also need to install new stove, dishwashing machine and other kitchen equipment. Limited funding from the government does not allow the orphanage to purchase new dishes.
