The International Humanitarian Foundation has been organized in 2004 as a public non-profit corporation in Los Angeles County, California, USA. It has been determined by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under the Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We also have the tax-exemption status under the 23701d R&TC Section of the California State Tax Code.
We currently run 4 programs as our main activities and the Fiscal Sponsorship program as a passive help for other agencies in their efforts to get funded for their charitable projects.
85% of our organizational budget funds supports our programs, 10% is used for the fundraising, leaving 5% for the administrative expenses. Our annual operating budget for the year 2006 estimates to $1,181,395.
